psHappy Friday – and second day of summer! This week has definitely felt like summer and we took a mid-week break for a needed back day 🙂
Monday night we went for a short walk/bike ride. Avery wanted to try out Chloe’s (much too small) strider bike and really liked it, the goal is two wheels soon but it is mind over matter for her right now. Post supper cookies:

Wednesday morning the girls and I hit the beach bright and early. I prefer weekday beach mornings, it is not too hot for the girls and nobody is there! My grandma also joined us.
Chloe was not too sure of the water and preferred playing in the sand. My Grandma trying to get her to put her feet in the water:
We left just before lunch to get home for lunch and naps but neither girl made it home awake!

This weekend – Chad is playing in a ball tournament, I am doing a takeover of the 5km local Foam Fest run – check it out here tomorrow and that is it – for now!
