It felt like a winter weekend over here! And to be honest we all have cabin fever despite getting out – we miss summer!
Saturday we took the girls to Wingfest then afterwards my Mom, Avery and I went to our favourite market – All Things Pretty market.
Our afternoon at home we baked and coloured:
Chloe is oddly obsessed with playing in the bathtub these days:
Wingfest – desptire being cold we enjoyed the event!
I forgot to take photos of what we got but the girls got outfits from Mini Street, some bath bombs, hair clips, hooded towels (Christmas gift for them) – I am realizing they got all the good stuff!!! haha
Sunday we woke up to more snow, I had my last long run to do and after 10km called ti quits as it was getting slushy and slippery in areas.
Chloe in her Mini Street outfit – yes, those are pleather pants.
Afternoon of my crafting and PlayDoh:
I am realizing we have to keep these girls a lot busier come these colder months so need to brainstorm some ideas!
Hello Friday! Guess what we welcomed this week?? SNOW! Ahh! I only remember one other birthday where I had snow and of course it was the year my parents rented and craned in a hot tub for my birthday party – HA. But I am confident this snow will be gone in no time 😉
This week I celebrated turning 34 – which was a low-key day and just what I wanted. Lunch with friends, family supper and cake then a massage Chad booked for me 🙂
It is my work busy season so 4:30pm comes in a blink these days and weeks fly by so my weeks are pretty uneventful in the evenings!
Moving right into meal planning – which by the way I do plan to share on IG stores soon!
Saturday – “Wing Fest” Event – if we can find a sitter!
Sunday – Tuna wraps & sweet potato fries
Monday – Slow Cooker Teriyaki Chicken with roasted broccoli – Well Plated by Erin
Tuesday – Anniversary Supper Out
Wednesday – Thai Peanut Tofu Buddha Bowl – My Fresh Perspective
Thursday – Pancakes for supper – Avery’s request
Friday – OUT
Weekend plans include a market date with my Mom and Avery, maybe yard work if the weather improves and baking – chilly days must do!
This week was a blur, between the whole school thing, dental appointments and busy days I need to figure out a new groove these days so that I feel slightly more with it 😉
One photo from this week, fall and Halloween pjs already!
Straight into meal planning!
Saturday – BBQ for Chad & the girls as I have a girls night!
Sunday – Slow Cooker Black Bean soup & pesto veggie sandwiches
Monday – 30 Minute Chicken Stir-Fry – Natasha’s Kitchen
Tuesday – Greek Turkey Burgers & kale salad – Budget Bytes
Wednesday – Birthday Supper
Thursday – Quick & Easy Creamy Tomato Pasta –Oh She Glows
Friday – Fish Tacos with Mango Salsa
Big plans for the weekend include a much needed girls night, a Costco trip and hopefully some park hopping with the girls 🙂
While I dreamt of one last beach weekend with hot weather we had quite the opposite and it definitely felt like the last weekend of summer.
Friday night the girls and I had a girls movie night. I lost and we watched a Veggie Tales movie but they did share the popcorn 😉
On Saturday we spent the afternoon at the Kraay Farm and corn maze. This place is so fun – and you could spend an entire day there – there is so much to do!
Lets play find Chloe – outfit fail!
So excited that she could write her name on the truck!
Our best attempts at a family photo – Chloe just wanted to run!
Sunday was a 19km run, coffee at McDonalds in princess dresses, chores then one last time out at the river property for a hot dog roast.
Yesterday was spent baking, hanging out at home, decorating for fall, sorting summer and fall clothes and a few errands,
And taking photos of Princess Chloe – she is obsessed with playing dress -up these days so I had to document it 🙂
I squeezed in a run later, which despite the sun being out was chilly!
