Baby K – Weeks 35-36

What is Baby K up to? Besides making Mommy uncomfortable…? (Only kidding). With her due date now less than a month away she is starting to pack on the pounds. And could weigh up to 6.5lbs! They Dr’s have confirmed at my last two appointments that she is head down. I actually thought she may have dropped but she has not.

How I am doing? Tired. I do good from 7am-7pm (besides being more tired than usual) but 7pm-7am is another story. Sleeping on my side causes me back and hip pain so when I wake up sometimes I take a long time to get comfortable and fall back asleep. I have a few other pains that started the last two weeks which I have been told is probably from her heading hitting nerves.

Weight gain? 16lbs I think. I am weighed weekly at my appointments so I know better know where I am at. I have been eating every 2-3 hours since bigger meals are tough to eta these days.

Workouts: Gym membership is officially gone. Walking on the treadmill at home is okay but does cause some pains and BH contractions so I take it really slow. I am still getting in 3 days at home plus prenatal yoga once a week.

Movement: I would say less than the previous two weeks. She still moves but the movements are smaller as she is tight for space.

Sleep: I kinda already answered this yeah sleep is less these days and I often find myself awake for 2 hours in the middle of the night.

Stretch marks? No change yet – no stretch marks – YAY!

Miss Anything?  Just being comfortable while laying down.

Fun and/or Interesting Things from the Week:  Umm this is too easy, we got our maternity photos done and you can see them all here! We are so in love. Now to decide which ones to print for the nursery, another frame we have and some cards we are doing.  One sneak peek…

Baby Items Purchased: I am not sure we bought anything this week!

Nursery Update: With only a couple things missing I am ready to say it is pretty well done and it will be shared in a few days Smile

Looking Forward To: Meeting this little girl!

    Wow it's getting so close!

I hate sleep towards the end. Having to roll over is such a production and usually causes pain. I'm definitely not looking forward to the last few weeks at all.

I walked on the treadmill this weekend at 3.2 mph and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be!

I know! I cannot believe she is full term as of tomorrow. Nuts.
I am definitely at that point where I want her out. I have had it so good though, I cannot complain.
Awesome! I think it sounds faster than it is. I got back up to 3.5 the other day and was impressed.
