4 day work weeks fly by – maybe too fast for my liking when I am busy at work! This week we also had Avery’s 5 year check-up, she moved up to the 15th percentile for height and weight – but still is a peanut – no idea where she gets her size from 😉 I had a much needed haircut and that was as exciting as our week got.

If you have seen from my Instagram stories that cookbook is my current fave! Every recipe is amazing – especially the baking and pancakes!
Weekend plans, we are going to Disney on Ice with the girls and I am thinking we might decorate for Christmas 🙂
After a couple busy work months things are now settled down – which means maybe, just maybe I will get back to this blog! We had a fairly uneventful week – days fly by and before I know it Friday is here every week so without much to share here is next week’s meal plan.

Weekend plans – first of all, it is Avery’s 5th birthday! We are also curling in a bonspiel with my work AND it is a long weekend!
November you guys?! I actually love this time of the year as it is all about Christmas for me very soon 😉 And in 8 days Miss. Avery turns 5!
Highlight of our week was obviously Halloween. Chloe was a princess for dayhome and then changed into another princess dress for trick or treating. Avery was a genie:
I took the girls out for an hour and they did great! It was SO nice out too! We only had 40 kids to our house which seems low.
My meal planning report from last week on Goodfood? I loved it! I liked the meals, they were fairly simple to make and was enough for us four for supper and three lunches – so decent quantities!

This weekend we have Avery’s birthday party, swimming lessons and a get together with friends 🙂
Aside from another busy week the only eventful thing I have to share is falling down the stairs and possibly breaking my toe 🙁 The good news is it is not that painful and most of my normal activities are still okay.
Also, how it is Halloween next week?! I have no idea what Chloe is going to dress up as – it changes daily, and Avery is being a genie. I cannot say I love Halloween but taking the girls trick or treating is a highlight for sure.
Next week we are trying Good Food after a friend gave me a couple free meals to try it – I have not used any meal kit service in a couple years but on a busy week I am excited to have it.
