At the beginning of January I downloaded an app (review coming soon) for my phone to track my km’s, mainly since I had never done it before and wanted to see not only my monthly totals but my year total. So, as most of you I just started running again after Christmas after not running since August, and in January I ran a total of 70km – not too shabby I thought.
I started a half marathon training plan yesterday, and still need to work on it more but will be sharing it all with you soon. One thing I am lost on is cross training, before I had a gym membership so this was easy but not now…any ideas?
This week I also started to run 6km vs 5km a time – baby steps
This week’s workouts:
Sunday – 6km run and upper body workout
Monday – Tracy Anderson Post Pregnancy DVD
Tuesday – Mom & Baby Yoga
Wednesday – 6km run and Yoga Inferno DVD
Thursday – 6km run
Friday – Hard Body DVD
Saturday – REST
This month I am trying to get up to running 7-8km at a decent pace (around 5:30 mins/km), then I have a 12 week training program I will start once we are back from holidays. Craziness. Before I know it June 1st will be here and I will be running a half marathon
