Foodie Friday

Hey All!

So when I did my post on Avery at 3.5 years I am pretty sure I jinxed the no tantrums – she has had two major ones this week. Oy. But I am pretty sure she is growing since she also woke up with growing pains in her legs this week. So yeah it has been a week ūüėČ

Chloe has had an eventful week, fell off Avery’s bed before work that morning and that day while my in-laws were babysitting she attempted to crawl out of her crib after her nap and fell. She is a tough cookie though and was not hurt.

What else this week? I ran Wednesday and it was perfect after a couple days of rain. Sorry no photo!

We got a surprise in the mail Monday! Thanks to Clif for the goodies, their nut butter filled bars are to die for – if you have not had one yet, run to the grocery store now!

Last night Chad went for a run for I put Chloe in the BOB and Avery ran with me to “train” for some upcoming races she is doing, 1.83km in just over 16 minutes!

Foodie Friday

Happy Friday everyone!

From our week… Avery has taken a huge interest in playing in her play kitchen again, every morning and before bed:

This usually involves us playing house where I am the Grandma – HA.

Tuesday Miss. Chloe turned ONE!! She got a candle in the banana muffin and we gave her her gifts from us:

She had some one-year appointments in the morning so I had the morning off with her while we went to those and stopped for a treat.

It was a beautiful day so after supper we went for a walk:

I went to spin Wednesday night and last night was spent watching Big Brother ūüôā It has become part of our after work routine to stay and play outside until Chad is home:

Tonight Chad and I are off to a gala, it might be my favourite as local “celebrities” pair with dance instructors to do a dance off, so much fun! Our other weekend plans – the girls have a birthday party tomorrow, I have a supper out with friends and Avery is getting a much needed haircut.

Foodie Friday

Weeks are flying by! Backing up to our week…

Monday we had some time outside after work:

We got these shirts from Little & Lively in the mail, Avery’s current obsession is mermaids so I had to get it for her – of course.

Tuesday I had to be at work at 7am (yawn) so I got off early to get the girls. Initially we planned to go to the park but it was cold and windy so instead we made donuts, which was a flop and only a few turned out. Turns out kids eat their suppers good (and fast) when donuts are waiting to be ate!

Chad and I had a lunch date Tuesday too, then went and bought a new computer. I opted for a desktop after 8 years of laptops. SO now we are transferring all our old desktop and laptop stuff over.

Wednesday I hit up a spin class once after supper and last night I had book club РI had not been in awhile!

Foodie Friday

From our week…

I am pretty sure both my spin teach Wednesday and yoga teacher Thursday tried to break me. Needless to say today was a rest day ūüėČ

Avery and I working out Tuesday night. She asked to stay up a little so I had to workout with me, she lasted 10 minutes and went to bed ūüėČ

I chopped my hair off!

Chad tried to tell me Chloe was dressed like a boy one day so I put her in a purple cardigan:

Like Avery she is always mistaken for a boy, I swear unless they are wearing pink with bows in the hair people think they are boys.

We spent some time outside yesterday after work since it was so nice out, Avery was not sure about puddles at first but then got into it:

Chloe is so crazy before bed, it makes story time interesting these days ūüėČ

Not too many weekend plans, hopefully some time spent outside in the sun, taking Avery to yoga and the usual weekend chores and errands.

Foodie Friday

Between it being the first week back after holidays and a darn cold week this week went by so slow. Seriously though – enough snow and winter!

Chloe has been fighting something or teething or…who knows what for two weeks. Yesterday she got worse with a fever so I picked up the girls early and we hung out at home for the afternoon. Other than that we had a quiet week, Chloe had a doctors appointment and is doing great, she also learned how to open all cupboards and drawers and loves to pull out everything!

Avery has been picking out her own clothes when I say I am buying things online and I am for the most part buying what she shows me, and I have to say sometimes I am not sure but then she puts them on and they suit her! Like this shirt:

Yesterday we made Mini Egg cookies, I had some I wanted gone so we used them in cookies:

And me? I got to a spin and yoga class this week! I am taking advantage of the next few months with no big race until August to do more more classes.
