Foodie Friday

This was a rough week around our house. Avery’s fever spiked Monday again but luckily without any symptoms besides just not being herself. Then Monday Chad and I started to get sick and have battled colds every since. I am hoping mine is almost gone now, I have been in bed before 9pm every night!

These two crack me up. Chloe wants everything Avery has and Avery wants Chloe to have nothing. Now that Chloe can walk along furniture and pull herself up and stand alone this is quite funny to watch. Chloe takes things of Avery’s then waits for her to see before she bolts and tries to hide it.

This is three, made at me for taking her photo one second and laughing hysterically the next:

I went to yoga at lunch yesterday and needed some photos (something Chad is doing at work – I really am not sure!) so asked the teacher to take some.

I am pretty sure she aims to make us as sweaty as possible in 50 minutes 😉 Though it is the best class and I look forward to it every week now!

Meal planning. With holidays coming up soon I am going to start using up food in the house which means more thinking when it comes to meal planning!

Saturday – Roasted Sweet Potato Quinoa Salad (Nourished the Blog) & turkey smokies

Sunday – Superbowl Party – Appetizers etc, that I still need to plan

Monday – Sheet Pan Sweet and Sour Chicken – Budget Bytes

Tuesday – Turkey Lasagna (freezer)

Wednesday – Chicken Pad Thai – Cooking Classy

Thursday – Crock Pot Chicken Taco Chili – Skinny Taste

Friday – Chipotle Black Bean burgers (Costco) & salad

I am hoping this weekend is full of rest for us so that nobody else gets sick & Sunday we are having people over for Superbowl which I actually love, ok, I love the food and commercials 😉

I might have to try that pad thai recipe. Liam loves pad thai!

I miss the lunchtime yoga classes with you 🙁

Hope you guys are all on the mend now. Stupid winter sickness.

I made pad Thai once and it was terrible! I haven't attempted it since. Have you made that recipe before? Hope you guys have a great weekend! I'm sad we won't see you, I didn't realize it was Super Bowl weekend?! Haha
