Foodie Friday

Weeks are flying by! Backing up to our week…

Monday we had some time outside after work:

We got these shirts from Little & Lively in the mail, Avery’s current obsession is mermaids so I had to get it for her – of course.

Tuesday I had to be at work at 7am (yawn) so I got off early to get the girls. Initially we planned to go to the park but it was cold and windy so instead we made donuts, which was a flop and only a few turned out. Turns out kids eat their suppers good (and fast) when donuts are waiting to be ate!

Chad and I had a lunch date Tuesday too, then went and bought a new computer. I opted for a desktop after 8 years of laptops. SO now we are transferring all our old desktop and laptop stuff over.

Me and my workout buddy Tuesday night:

Wednesday I hit up a spin class once after supper and last night I had book club – I had not been in awhile!

A couple outfit photos from the week:

Saturday – Sweet Potato, Shrimp & Kale Skillet with Rice – Primavera Kitchen

Sunday – Greek Crock Pot Sloppy Joes – Well Plated by Erin

Monday – 30 Minute Sesame Chicken Noodle Stir-fry – Budget Bytes

Tuesday – Greek Chicken wraps & sweet potato fries

Wednesday – Budget BytesHoisin Stir-fry Bowls with Peanut Sauce –

Thursday – Cheesy Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta with Sausage and Spinach – Well Plated by Erin

Friday – Black Bean burgers (Costco) & salad

Avery has a birthday party this weekend, I have to do some one year photos for Chloe and we have a games night with my brothers and their girlfriends.

Enjoy your weekends!

Where did you and Chad go for lunch? That sandwich looks good. You need to drag me to spin on the nights I don't have Liam. Also, I've been thinking of making that hoison stirfry bowl again too. it's sooooo good.
    See you tomorrow!

Swede is really into mermaids right now too!
Sesame Noodle Stir-Fry sounds really good. The Hoisin Stir-Fry bowls is one of my favorites! The peanut sauce…
    Have a fun weekend! 🙂

Isn't it?! Avery is mermaid obsessed so I had to buy it!
I swear every week is too busy right now. I am trying to figure out what can go to make things less crazy but that is probably just a dream 😉

It's a busy time! And it's only going to get crazier as they get older with activities! Can you do some errands in the evening after the girls go to bed? Sometimes I try to do that since everything takes 3x as long with kids.

I am lucky that I use lunch hours to do most errands. I am going to ask for 4 days a week as of July…we have a new CEO coming in (maybe by then) so fingers crossed. Then appts etc can happen that day and in the fall Avery has preschool Friday mornings anyways so it will work better with that too. We will see!

Fingers crossed for you! Having an extra day for appointments and such is a lifesaver! I would have to take off so much time if I worked 5 days a week– and my kids don't even have that many appointments!

That will be my selling feature haha. Example next week, I will be late Tuesday for C's 1 year shots, probably miss at least two hours and then Thursday she has a check up so I will leave almost 2 hours early. Which is fine since I do not need to use any time to do those things but still would be better to just have that extra day to schedule appts.

I don't know how you get it all done. I am a stay at home mom and I'm not nearly as productive as you! haha. What are your favourite games to play?
