Foodie Friday

With a short week and being back at work I have no photos to share! I have to say it is nice to be back in our routine this week and even better than it is not -40 out 😉

I am excited to share some new meals for next week. My goal these days with meals are three things:

#1 – Kid will eat it or attempt to eat it

#2 – It is healthy – meaning balanced 😉

#3 – Takes less than 30 minutes to prepare (unless it is a crockpot meal)

Well maybe 4, since most meals have to be dairy free as well – which is a struggle sometimes!

Saturday – Black bean burgers & Greek salad

Sunday – Five Bean Soup & biscuits – Wholefully

Monday – Easy Orange Chicken with rice & roasted broccoli – Budget Bytes

Tuesday – French toast & berries

Wednesday – Bibimbap – Budget Bytes

Thursday – One Pot Vegetarian Spaghetti – Family Food on the Table

Friday – Salmon, Avocado and bacon wraps & sweet potato fries – Taming of the Spoon

Weekend plans include a 30km run (OY) – I have to remind myself that training is half way over these days. then hopefully some outside time with the girls!

    I can't believe how fast your training cycle has gone by and how close your trip is! I'm going to have major FOMO.

    I really need to work on finding some quick, healthy meals or use my crock pot more! I hate that so much of my evening is spent cooking instead of spending quality time with Liam.
