Pregnancy #2 – The Details

First of all, thank you for all the congratulations! You are all the best 🙂

So, now lets get down to the details! I have copied most of the same questions as with Avery to keep it consistent:

How did you find out you were pregnant? Just like last time, I had a feeling and tested early only to see a faint line, a couple days later I bought a yes or no test and a YES appeared! To say I was shocked is an understatement. We had gone back and forth on when to try for baby #2 but at the end of the day we wanted to happen when it was meant to. We tried for close to 2 years for Avery and hoped to avoid that stress this time around which we certainly did!

How far along are you now? I am 11 weeks

What were your 1st symptoms? Peeing all the time!

Who did you tell first? Chad, my family and a few close friends 🙂

How far were you when you found out? 4 weeks

How did your parents/family react? Shocked but happy!

Due Date: April 7, 2016 – 2 years and 5 months after Avery!

Will you find out the sex? Heck yes!

Any names? Yes! We had a boy and girl name chosen for awhile now.

Any Ultrasounds? Yup! We had our first one on September 8th. Baby was measuring right around 2.11cm and their heart rate was 144bpm – exactly the same as Avery at this age!

Do you have morning sickness?  I actually thought I was going to get lucky since I had none until after 8 weeks. Week 8 was rough, nausea hit and I was just getting over a wicked cold. Week 9-10 I had some bad days but good days in there too. It seemed rough on those bad days but it could have been much worse!

Do you have any cravings or aversions? Same as nausea none until week 8. Last time there was foods I could not eat at all, this time I can eat anything but cooking is the issue! So it made for an interesting couple of weeks!

12 week post will be coming next week! Then I will do updates every two weeks.

Congratulations! I don't think I realized you guys tried for almost 2 years before getting pregnant with Avery!! So happy and excited for you to hear that this time it just happened when it was meant to. I'm excited to follow along and glad to hear you've been feeling relatively well!
