Weekend Recap

So these weeks it looks like I only have two post, Foodie Friday and Weekend Recaps – promise soon I will get back into haring more, I have some fun stuff to share soon!

First day of pre-school! I knew Avery would do great, since she has been asking to go to school for 1.5 years but she did ever better than I thought and was too willing to be the firs to answer everything – yeah, that kid 😉

That night I wanted to run outside but skipped that for the treadmill because of the smoke.

Our morning was spent running errands and then we headed to the corn maze for the afternoon. I am always amazed how much they add every year – so worth the annual trip!

These little houses are always the highlight!

Chloe was obsessed with this bouncy thing – she got doubled bounced all the time but got up laughing time after time.

Goats – why are kids so goat crazy?!

Once we got home we had a quick supper before my Mom, Avery and I headed to a local market. I bought a Christmas gift, a Finn& Grinn cardigan for Chloe and Avery got a “vampire” bow for Halloween.

Oh and cupcakes 😉

We woke up to blue skies – yay!!! We had the perfect running temperature too.

Fall running is the best!

The rest of the day was spent baking, showing our rental house, going to a showhome, the playground and meeting my Mom’s new kitty!

Oh and pulling the last of my carrots out – I am going to miss my garden!

I am not sure I am ready for this week – we have something every single night Monday-Thursday but then a quiet weekend (so far).

What a fun weekend!! I think it's so cute that Jase & A are still the same height, tiny little things 😉 Those carrots are beautiful!!! So my brother was telling me the other night that they are looking into moving to Washington in a few years, first thing I did was check to see how far they would be from Red Deer hehe 😉 Hope you have a great week~XOXO

I wish that farm was a closer drive for us! Looks like they got a new bouncy thing? It looks huge! (From what I saw on your IG stories anyway!). Avery looks so grownup in her preschool photo! How many days a week is she going? Do you have to take her and pick her up or does the dayhome do that for you?

This one was by the corn maze, I think it was new last year maybe? I cannot keep track!
Just one (Fridays). Dayhome is happy to help but commuting but I feel bad having her get all the kids out esp in the colder months so I am doing most of it and will work later Fridays and use my lunch to take her to dayhome.

You guys had a busy weekend! I have yet to make it out to the corn maze and I really need to get out there! I love that Avery wants to be a Witch lol. Best answer ever.

Looks like an awesome weekend!! My carrots didn't come up this year, I'm so disappointed! I am going to have garden beds in our backyard next year instead of doing the community garden, it was a good experience for my first time gardening but I don't think I was able to keep it watered enough which is why some stuff didn't come up. Have you ever done a blog post all about your garden? Size of it, what you plant, how you decide what to plant where etc.? I would find that super interesting if you did 🙂

Oh boo! Mine were not great (small as you can see). It was a hard year for gardens I think. Mine did ok somehow – I am bad at watering too!
I semi have but not in great deal. I have a book called the The Complete Book of Vegetables and use it as a guide when planning which is really helpful! I should do a more in depth post next year 🙂

Looks like a great weekend! We need to get to the corn maze here too, possibly wait until the pumpkins arrive though! 🙂 Sunday was SO nice, it's like the smoke cleared!!

Avery looks so excited to go to school! So cute. Where is that corn maze? I seem to remember it from you guys going before, but can't remember the name of it now.
