Workout Wednesday

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope your week is going good. We are half way to the weekend – crazy, weeks are flying by and tomorrow I already 23 weeks. I hate how fast our short summer goes. I LOVE Fall, and by love I mean I already excited for it – I am nuts I know. but something about cozy sweaters, boots, pumpkin spice lattes, the leaves, the smell… Okay I will quit there its still summer Smile

The last couple of weeks I have started to put all my weekly workouts into one post since before they kept getting left out of posts and so far it is going good and it gives me more of a blog schedule which I like.

Here are my workouts for the week:

Sunday – Gym trip – 30 minutes on the elliptical & triceps and back. I have to elaborate a bit here. So far the weight I do most of my exercises with has not changed. However, this week I was so tired Monday and had some neck/shoulder pain which lead to a headache later in the day. It made me wonder if maybe it is time to decrease the weight a bit? Any thoughts on this?

Monday – Rest

Tuesday – Gym trip – 30 minutes elliptical & chest, biceps and shoulders day.

Wednesday – 75 minute prenatal yoga class.

Thursday – 4.5km run outside – I finally bought a handheld water bottle carrier since my belt obviously no longer fits. It also is another 3oz. bigger which is awesome.

Friday – Gym trip – 30 minutes elliptical and legs day.

Saturday – Rest

And there you have it a full week or workouts. Speaking of workouts I finally bit the bullet and order this tank today from Two For Fitness.


It was a tad pricey at $50 but I figured Lululemon tanks are that much and I really wanted it. Lets hope it ships fast now!

Oh and today is one month till the Mud Hero race – today I found the course and obstacles online here – I think I can do most of them or hope I can but baby and safety are #1.


Moms and Moms-to-be -Did you reduce the amount of weight you used for exercise when you were pregnant?

How much do you spend on workout gear?

Way less now but I used to spend tons on running stuff. I was fairly tempted in the Running Room last weekend to buy a few things.

    Cute top for sure!! Nice week of workouts! I haven't lowered my weights much, except for Tracy's videos I use 5 when she uses 3. But I still use my heavy kettlebells and weights when I do weight videos.

      I do the same for her workouts, I am not sure 3lbs would do much! And I do not own any. Good to know. I might be more careful on the pull downs – where I think I hurt my shoulders/back.

    I really wanted that tank when I was pregnant but couldn't justify spending that much for something I would only wear to workout a few months.

    As for the amount of weight I used, it just depended what I was doing. Over head stuff I always went lighter but squats and deadlifts I kept about the same for as long as I was able

      I know they are pricey. I probably should not have bought it! I only justified it thinking I would wear in pregnancy #2 and maybe #3 – (#3 is if Chad's gets his way lol).
      I think I need to go lighter on the pull downs, giving me too much neck and shoulder tightness afterwards.
